SAN FRANCISCO, CA AND SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA - April 25, 2022 -Beamo has been accepted into Go Austria, the incubation program of Global Incubator Network Austria (GIN). Go Austria grants startups the opportunity to meet with Austrian experts in the field, validate and expand their business models, and most importantly, meet new potential customers or stakeholders and gain a foothold in the European market.
This government-funded program seeks to connect the Austrian startup ecosystem with hotspots in Asia such as Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and China. It welcomes startups working with technologies such as big data, virtual/augmented reality, artificial intelligence, robotics, green-tech, mobility, med-tech solutions, etc.
Beamo is an innovative Digital Twin solution that uses AI, Computer Vision, Geolocation, and XR to create enterprise-grade digital twins for mission-critical facilities and remote sites. Beamo allows anybody available onsite to easily and quickly capture any space using a smartphone and a 360° camera, allowing them to make digital twins 10x faster than others.
Beamo anticipates that the Go Austria program will yield significant results and help establish its presence in Europe. Located strategically in the heart of Europe, Austria’s market is one of the richest in the European Union and is characterized by many small and medium-sized enterprises, some of whom are leaders in their own niche markets. As the country places importance on innovation for maintaining competitiveness, it spends 3.2% of its GDP on research and development, more than the goal set by the EU for its members.
Austria has a strategic reach into the 400M consumers in Europe, 100M of which are German-speaking located in the DACH region (German, Austria, and Switzerland), where the purchasing power is strongest in the EU. As such, every year, a thousand applicants sign up for the program, with a hundred of them getting the opportunity to fly into Austria.
